“Please help me in congratulating the following … photography students for their success at The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers in the SOUTH Region competition (see attached).
Kathryn Klokker 12 – Klokker 2 and Klokker – Silver Key and Honorable Mention
This is an outstanding performance from our school’s photography students as the competition, which included hundreds of thousands of artworks, was fierce among young artists representing more than fifteen southern states (AL, AR, DC, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WV).”

Erin took this one. It looks like a giant limb had fallen across the tractor. But, she was actually up in her treehouse looking down at the tractor with the limb in the middle of the view.

Eclipse

Did you watch the eclipse last night? It was amazing! Erin, Jordyn, Kathryn and I watched from about 12:40 am until about 2:30 am when it clouded up and we couldn’t see anymore. It was really beautiful.
We saw tons of stars. Were able to pick out several constellations. And, we saw 5-6 shooting stars.
