Another great shop hop!

My friend, Reidun, Erin and I visited all 12 quilt stores on the Blue Bonnet Shop Hop. Reidun’s first year. 
Lots of great quilts and inspration! We also visited a fabulous native plant nursery in Medina. Absolutely beautiful!!!! Everything was in bloom and a little bluebird came out of its nest to show off for us. Loved it!! Thanks Ernesto!

Watermelon!

Check out our watermelon!
My neighbor gave me some plants she started but could not remember what they were. One turned out to be a canteloupe and we have gotten three small but yummy fruits from it. The other turned out to be a watermelon. Isn’t it beautiful!! We are going to cut into it later today.

I found this cool plant at Wal-Mart and couldn’t resist it. It is called “Etna” and is an Echeveria Hybrid.
Our first tomato

This one came off a potted plant. However, the garden is planted and growing well. We will have more tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, beans, okra, watermelons, chives, basil carrots, dill, baby corn, etc.
