Boot Camp

Kathryn and I started Boot Camp Monday morning. It is from 5:30-6:30 each morning for four weeks with Spring Break week off. (Yes, that is AM not PM!) Ouch! My quads, abs and triceps are sore!! I am sure it will be good for us eventually…
Butter Pecan Bars

Preheat oven 300 degrees.
Crust:
1 package Butter Pecan Cake mix
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
1 egg
Mix together and press into a greased 9×13 pan.
Filling:
1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
1 box powdered sugar
2 eggs
Beat all together until creamy. Pour over crust. Sprinkle with 1+ cup of chopped pecans.
Bake for 1 hour. Cool and cut into bars.
Enjoy!

Travis was chosen by his classmates and teacher to receive the character award for “Fairness” for his class. Very cool!!
